Support Coordinator & Disability Advocate
📍 Based in Maitland NSW | Lived experience parent & advocate |

Alecia brings both professional expertise and powerful lived experience to her role as a Support Coordinator. As a mother to two children with complex disability needs, including neurodiversity, she understands firsthand the challenges, strength, and resilience it takes to navigate systems and advocate for the right support.

With a background in community engagement, disability advocacy, and public speaking, Alecia is deeply passionate about helping people feel seen, heard, and empowered. Whether she’s running NDIS workshops, coordinating with therapists and schools, or guiding participants through reviews and referrals, Alecia brings warmth, clarity, and commitment to every interaction.

Her person-centred approach is grounded in compassion and practical know-how, especially when supporting families and individuals with high support needs, trauma backgrounds, or complex disabilities. She has also volunteered extensively in her community—developing inclusive programs, supporting carers, and advocating for systems-level change through advisory committees.

💬 “My passion is people. I believe in helping others build confidence, understanding, and the courage to advocate for themselves.”

Alecia has supported individuals across the lifespan of the NDIS and is particularly skilled at creating inclusive environments and sustainable support networks. Her current studies in Professional Writing and Publishing complement her advocacy work—equipping her to share stories that change perspectives and influence positive change.
